The Busy Knights

The Busy Knights are the titular collection of characters that lead a set of short stories based on Cataclysm Era folk tales told to children. It is unclear if these heroes were based on real people or are entirely fictional; but in modern times there are even

โ€œTheyโ€™re called The Busy Knights because theyโ€™re so busy saving the worldโ€ฆโ€

Their exact composition changes with various stories; especially in the original folklore, but the published versions canonize the stories. The author is an unknown figure who goes by the pseudonym of Dugan Minster.

A story of detailing how two Elves; a Cleric and Barbarian, two Humans; a Fighter and Monk, a Black Dragonborn Bard, and a Half-Elf Sorcerer saved a woman trapped in a tower by a Manticore.

The cover is a picture of the 6 of posing with the Manticoreโ€™s decapitated head. The tale it is based on is commonly considered the original story that spawned the folklore around The Busy Knights.

The blurb reads โ€œ6 heroes band together and rescue the once-great city of Alsumor from its ruler after discovering the truth behind his rise to power 16 years priorโ€
