Gyi'Gantos
Summary
Section titled “Summary”Gyi’Gantos are a virtually extinct species of both Fey and Giant blood. They supposedly onced ruled the peaks of the Mystveil Mountains. They are taller, more muscular, and control more mystical powers than the Goliaths of the Material Plane.
History
Section titled “History”Toskaldr told a story of a people created on accident by an entity named The Trickster. He supposedly led droves of Giants into the Feywild to become gladiators for his entertainment. When that lost it’s lustre, The Trickster did what he did best and sowed chaos; disguising himself as one of the men and seducing one of the women - in the hopes of stirring up rivalry. The woman fell pregnant with his child; a surprise to The Trickster, and born to her was the first Gyi’Gantos - with unique, runic markings over it’s body, and pointed ears.
The Trickster; emboldened by his newfound ability to create a new species, ignored the warnings of an Archon and seduced countless Giant women; leading to a tribe of Gyi’Gantos that revered him as their god. The Trickster was punished by the Archon that had warned him; referred to as The Blind Lady. She cursed him to live as a Serpent so long as she should live; but not before he placed a curse on the Gyi’Gantos for betraying him.
